2016-2020 Maize District: 3^rd Grade & Kindergarten

I married my wonderful husband, Seth Klausmeyer, in 2018. Both Garden Plain natives, we are invested in this community and plan to be here for the rest of our lives. We had our son, Brogan in 2019 and our daughter, Paxton, in 2022. They will someday be GP Owls as well!  As a family, we love living in the country and spending time outside. We are a die-hard football family (Sorry Chiefs fans, we wear blue and silver for the Dallas Cowboys!) 

Among playing multiple sports, I was also a dancer for majoirty of my life. I began dancing at age three, and since then have been very blessed by this activity over the years. I attended Fort Hays State on a dance scholarship all four years of my college, and when I moved back home, I began a summer dance lesson program in Garden Plain, “Mrs. Klausmeyer’s School of Dance.” It’s grown into a large, successful program and I am overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to share my passion with the young girls of the GP community.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy exercising alongside my husband. We are a huge football family, so we spend a lot of time watching any, and every game that may be on television! Each year, we make it a tradition to go to at least one Dallas Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. It is a tradition we can’t wait to share with our son, Brogan! We are very family oriented, and we spend most of our days gathered with cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, etc. Typically you can find us outside around a campfire, or in the fields during harvest! My husband and I both have a deep love for the community that raised us, which is why I am so excited to be teaching in Garden Plain. “There’s no place like home!”
