I BELIEVE:

  • Everyone will be treated with dignity and respect.

  • Data will be analyzed and translated into goals that guide the development of a comprehensive, student-centered school-counseling program.

  • Professional school counselors will adhere to the ASCA (American School Counselor Association) Ethical Standards for Professional School Counselors.

  • All students are lifelong learners.

  • Learning styles are embraced by providing a safe and positive learning environment.

  • Students’ learning is enhanced by participation in a comprehensive school counseling program that is planned, managed, implemented, and evaluated by the professional school counselor.

  • Children can be taught appropriate behaviors and can learn and grow to reach their full potential.

  • Children learn best when they feel good about themselves and their relationships with others.

  • Professional School Counselors are a resource and an advocate for all students, staff, parents and community members.
