Garden Plain Elementary

I teach 4^th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. I have been teaching here since the Fall of 2019.

Before coming to Garden Plain, I taught fourth grade at Isely Traditional Magnet Elementary for four years and third grade at Sunrise Christian Academy for three years. Other various teaching opportunities I have had include teaching preschool, Sunday School, VBS, and piano. I also worked on the program staff at Camp Hiawatha for one summer.

I was born in Wichita and have lived there all my life. Some hobbies I enjoy include reading, running, and spending time with friends and family, especially by playing games or enjoying the outdoors. My parents, sister, and nieces all live in the Wichita area, and I enjoy getting to see my nieces often. Ever since I was in elementary school, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I was blessed with many wonderful teachers growing up, and they all inspired me.
