I started teaching at Garden Plain Elementary in 1998.

I have been with the Renwick School District as a teacher since 1995.

My first teaching job was at St. Joe Catholic School, Wichita, KS. I taught first grade for 3 years, 1992-1995.

I taught first grade for two years at St. Mark’s, 1995-1998, then kindergarten at Garden Plain since.

My name is Joan Pauly.  I grew up in Garden Plain, and attended Garden Plain schools from first grade to 12th grade, graduating in 1983. I married my high school sweetheart, Mark Pauly, in 1988. We have four children, Alayna, Zach, Nate, and Matt. Our children were born and raised in Garden Plain, and have graduated from Garden Plain High School, and went on to graduate college from Fort Hays State University, Kansas State University, and Baker University. My husband and I also have three grandchildren, and two of them attend Garden Plain elementary.
