I am beginning my 12th year with the Renwick district and my 22nd year teaching.
Before moving to Kansas in 2010, I taught for 10 years in Oklahoma.
My husband, Paul and I have been married since 1997. He is a music teacher and involved in many area productions music directing and playing the piano. We have 3 children, all girls. My oldest daughter, Mckenzie, is a junior at Oklahoma State University – Go Pokes! My youngest daughters, twins Molly and Hayden, are in 8th grade here. I also have two dogs, Zoe and Bailey, a yellow and a black lab.
In the summer it is rare to catch me without a book - I love to read! It's a big reason I became a teacher. I want to instill my love of learning and reading in my students.
I love spending time with my family. I enjoy being with my husband and my girls when I'm not at school. I travel to Oklahoma many times during the year to see my extended family.
When I'm not working on something for school, you can probably find me driving my girls to one of their many activities. We are a busy family and I wouldn't have it any other way!
