Garden Plain Elementary

2018-2019 will be my first year teaching 6-8 Language Arts at GPE.

I began working in education in 2012 at Wichita North High School running part of the AVID program and the school wide tutoring program. Following obtaining my teaching license, I taught freshmen and sophomore Language Arts at Haven High School from 2014-2018. 

I have been married to my wife, Christi, since 2010. Christi is a third grade teacher at Bentley Primary School. We have two daughters, Ella and Addi. Ella is in first grade at Bentley and Addi is starting pre-school at Colwich Elementary. We have a basset hound named Fred. He is a nuisance and always provides us with good stories to tell to our students.

My hobbies are hanging out with my girls and watching movies. I love baseball and a lot of my family’s time is spent at the baseball field watching whatever team I am coaching at that point in the year.
